Founded in 1981, Congregation Rosh Pina is a Messianic Jewish Synagogue that exists to:
• Be a vibrant New Covenant Jewish expression of the Body of
Messiah in the midst of the larger Jewish community;
• Fulfill the directives of Yeshua the Messiah by making and
training disciples;
• Make the Besorah (Good News) of Yeshua known “to the Jew
first and also to the Gentile.”
Rosh Pina'’s Shabbat morning service incorporates music, dance and joyous worship within the structure of a liturgical Torah service. There is a Shabbat School program for children and youth, as well as nursery care to enable parents to more fully participate.
Following the service, we invite you to join us downstairs for our oneg, for light refreshments and plenty of time to schmooze (meet) with other members of the congregation, and build meaningful relationships. There are also various classes and activities, including Messianic dance classes.
Rosh Pina is affiliated with the Messianic Council of Tikkun Ministries and theUnion of Messianic Jewish Congregations(UMJC).

"The stone which the builders rejected, has become the Chief Cornerstone" - Psalm 118:22
The stone which the builders refused - (References : Matthew 21:42-43; Mark 12:10-11; Acts 4:11; 1 Peter 2:7).
This is an allusion to a building, as if a stone should be cast away by workmen as unfit to be worked into the edifice. The figure would then be applicable to anyone who, for any purpose, was rejected. Thus it might have been applied many a time to David; so, doubtless, to others who urged claims to authority and power; and so, eminently, to Yeshua the Messiah. We are not to suppose that this had original reference to the Messiah, but the language was applicable to him; and it is used in the passages above referred to, in addresses to the Israelites, merely to show them how the principle was found in their own writings, that one who was rejected, like a stone regarded as unfit to be worked into any part of a building, might be in reality so important that it would be laid yet at the very corner, and become the most valuable stone in the edifice - that on which the whole superstructure would rest.
Is become the head stone of the corner - The principal stone placed at the corner of the edifice. This is usually one of the largest, the most solid, and the most carefully constructed of any in the edifice. Of course one would be needed at each corner of the building to constitute a firm support, but usually there is one placed at one corner of an edifice larger and more carefully made than the others, often laid with imposing ceremonies, and prepared to contain whatever it may be thought necessary to deposit in the foundation of the building to be transmitted to future times as preserving the names of the builders, or expressing the design of the edifice. Such a position he who had been rejected was to occupy in the civil polity of his country; such a position eminently Yeshua the Messiah occupies in relation to His followers.
Ephesians 2:20.

Rosh Pina - ISRAEL לארשי - הניפ שאר
Rosh Pina is a town located in the Upper Galilee on the east side of Mount Kna'anim, which is under the rule of the Northern District of Israel. The town currently has a population of 2500 people. In 1878 a few religious Jews left the town of Ts'fat to establish a new agricultural community. They called it Gei Oni. Within 4 years of difficult conditions the group shrank to two families. Rescue came in 1882 by thirty new immigrant families from Romania, who renamed the town as Rosh Pina. The name was selected from Psalm 118, since the deserted community was reelected again and became the first modern Jewish agriculture community in the Land of Israel! It was officially recognized in 1953.
In 1883, Rosh Pina became the first Jewish community in the Land of Israel to come under the patronage of the Baron Edmond James de Rothschild. Today it is a place of cafes, restaurants and guesthouses in a town whose main source of income is tourism. The old houses in the heart of the Moshav have been beautifully preserved, as have their cobblestone streets. The House of Officials, in the center, was built in 1885 as an administrative center for Rosh Pina during the time it was supported by the Baron. Now, one can watch an audiovisual presentation about the history of Rosh Pina in the house. Also in the center is the synagogue, the second Modern Hebrew school built in Israel, and the house of Dr. Mer who researched Malaria during the 1930s. At the back of Rosh Pina there is the old cemetery with the graves of the Moshav's founders.
